Tomer Fruchter (1990, Israel) is an artist and writer based in Tel Aviv and Boston. His work mainly takes shape in installation form— where artworks and artistic acts are interwoven by performative gestures, and the roles of the artist, the curator and the artistic director mesh into one trans-individual offering. Fruchter is the co-founder of ghost - an ephemeral gallery space appearing in a myriad of short-lived forms across unorthodox locations. He received an MA in Art and Praxis from the The Dutch Art Institute; completed an advanced studies in Performance Art at The New Department, The School of Visual Theatre and graduated with honors from Bezalel Academy of Art & Design. Fruchter contributed artworks, workshops and organized projects in various places such as Performing Arts Forum(2023), The School of Visual Theatre(2022), Tel Aviv Museum of Art (2021), MOBY(Bat-Yam Museum of Art) 2021), Edmond de Rothschild Center (2020), The Center for Digital Art (2019).
